My name is Julie-Anne . I am a French bilingual woman. I have been a nanny for the past 10 years. I have been working as an educator in daycare, schools or day home for 6 years in Quebec as well. When I was 31 years old, I needed a change in my life so I decided to travel, to learn to speak English, to meet new people and different cultures, so I started my journey as a nanny. It was one of the best decision of my life.

EDUCATION
1991-1996: High School Massey-Vanier, Qc, Canada
1996-1998: Arts&Letters, Cegep of Granby, Qc, Canada
2003-2008: Early Childhood Education, Cegep of Granby, Qc, Canada
I was going to school to 6h30-9h30 pm three evenings a week and working everyday in daycare, day home or schools. I finished my course in five years but at least I ended getting my hours. I learned a lot about kids, safety, interactions, encouraging creativity, spheres of development, behaviors, all kinds of activities, self esteem.... I am glad I followed this program.
I have done few other course, like SCARS and got the certificate. I will have to redo my CPR First Aid.
EXPERIENCE
18 years old: Worked at IBM, Bromont, Canada
Contract of 18 months.
21 years old: Worked as an animator for a day camp for the summer break.
It was a beautiful place; we were outside, walking around a lot, doing a lot of nice activities. Kids were happy and us too. I was with the group of 10-12 years old. I really loved this job.

23-28 years old: Educator in daycare, day home and schools.
I have been working full time/part time (long/short contracts, one to few days, on call. So from 3 months old to 12 years old. I have got a lot of experience out of those locations; I worked with twins boys with autism, kids with ADHD, OCD, working in team, needed to develop great judgement and so much more. My favorite place out of those four: nanny, dayhome, daycare center or school was being a nanny. I love the dayhome also.
28-31 years old: Berry Plastics, Qc, Canada
It was hard to get a permanent job in a daycare or school at that time so I worked in a factory. I did not like it so I decided to be a nanny.
32-33 years old: Nanny in Alberta, Canada
So I moved to Alberta in September 2011 for taking care of Lauren, who was 13 months at that time. She was a sweet, funny, smart girl. She was having two dogs as well. I was living with them. We played outside everyday, go to playgroup, read, playing, singing, cuddling, make arts crafts, talking, make her ready for potty training, a new baby sister... It was not always easy because I was learning to speak English in the same time but a great fun challenge. I had an one year contract with them.
33-34 years old: Nanny in British Columbia, Canada
I moved to British Columbia for a contract of 8 months. I was living close to Victoria in their house. I really loved this place. I was taking care of Sophie, 5 years old and Jacques, 7 years old. I was mostly a housekeeper and playing with the dogs (2)and taking care of the chickens than being a nanny. But I did the holidays and a lot of overtime.
34-38 years old: Nanny in Bermuda
After this second experience, I got the opportunity to be a nanny in Bermuda. And a live out! Great benefits, good conditions, 2 kids, beautiful place to live... I love my actual family, the island, the friendly people from around the globe, the beaches, everything. I have been working with them since June 2013. They have two amazing boys, almost four and just turned seven. . They are amazing parents, grateful, respectful, generous and family oriented. I can give you references.

About Me
I really hope to work with a couple who loves spending time with their kids. They are respectful, nice, generous, happy, we work together for the best care of the children... I love to be a nanny but I would like trying something else. I love doing errands, grocery, cooking, gardening, organized space and things, light housekeeping, pet sitter and many more things so if you are looking for someone, I hope it could be me. I believe I can make your life easier.
