My name is Courtney. I am a Governess/Nanny looking for a lovely family to care for.
I have worked as a Nanny for several years primarily in my home state of Delaware.
I studied Early Childhood Education at Delaware Technical and Community College and Wilmington University. I am an Early Childhood Education intern, specializing in infant and toddler care certified by the state of Delaware. I have obtained several thousand hours student teaching and observing in a number of classroom settings including Child Development Centers, Head Start programs, and local Elementary schools. Last year I received a Bachelor of Science in Education Studies from Wilmington University.
I am also a certified and licensed Cosmetologist. I realized whilst working in several salons that my favorite clients were children. Children make the world a kinder place.
I grew up traveling to different locations as my father served in the United States Navy.
I attended primary and Secondary school in the United Kingdom. I also lived in Italy for several years. I am currently learning Spanish. I vacationed in Spain frequently as a child and since then It has always been a dream of mine to become fluent.
I believe manners and kindness go a long way. I am a hard worker and I never stop until the job is done. I plan to work hard to make your life a little easier whenever you need a helping hand.
I have always had a love of language, children, and teaching. It would be a privilege to help care for your family.
