We are looking to hire an experienced HOUSEKEEPER (live-out) who has experience with kids with start date as early as April 2015, has English near-native and/or basic German language skills, a driver license and does not require a visa.

We are a Swiss/German family how is looking for ideally an English speaking HOUSEKEEPER, which takes care of the household and also loves children and wants to become part of our family.
You would mainly have to take care of our twins (18 months old) and partially look after our 6 year old boy who goes to Kindergarten.
In addition grocery shopping, cooking a warm lunch 5 days for the kids and yourself (absolutely no gourmet food but healthy) and prepare a cold family dinner. As part of the household chores doing laundry, ironing and basic room cleaning are part of your duties.

We are looking for a calm, but determined Housekeeper, who must have gained experience taking care of kids in a responsible and fun way earlier. You are non-smoking and live responsibly but at the same time enjoy life and have a good portion of humour!

On a typical weekday you would come to our house at 7:30am help clean up the breakfast table or even join us for that and then take over with the household and the twins.
On some days you will have to drop off and/or pick up our oldest son at swimming, soccer etc.
Your day would typically end at 19:00h, depending if you were to join the family dinner or not.

The wife works full time, 5 days a week, leaving the house at 8:00am and returning around 18:00h. The husband works in a near-by office and travels on multi-day trips occasionally.

The community there as well in our village of about 14,000 inhabitants on the “Golden Coast” of Lake Zurich is truly International with a lot of families from the UK, US and the Nordics living around the area.
Despite still being a village we have all necessary infrastructure (grocery, pharmacy, doctors, library, playgrounds etc.) outside our doorstep and we are just 12 mins away from Zurich downtown with a direct light rail connection 4 times per hour. We live only a 5 minute walk away from the train station.


We are proficient in English, German and Swiss German and we would love to bring a new member of the family up to speed in any of the languages and assist you with getting to know Swiss culture, and traditions.
