Au Pair's Message to Families

Dear host family, Hi I’m Edilyn , 22 years of age. I was born on April 21,1987 in Antipolo, Rizal Philippines. I took up the course of Bachelor of Science in Nursing “undergraduate” but have a first aid certificate because I have taken a Caregiver course and I have also a knowledge in some medical things. I am looking for a warm-hearted family. Personally, I’m sweet, understanding, loving, thoughtful, helpful, hardworking; responsible and easy to be with. I’m fond of spending my spare time doing drawing, listening to music, surfing the net, watching movies, playing with my niece and nephews when they are in our house. I’m also independent, strong, resourceful and creative person. I’m fond of exploring things by myself. I also do like to travel to know their culture specially the kids I love to teach and play. I want to see their environment and traits in which I can imitate and use for a good purpose. I came from a family of eight and I am the youngest. I like mingling with other people. I had experiences handling the kids since I was a kid. I do love kids. Currently, I had to continue my studies while I don’t have a work. After my contract I just arrived last year November 5, 2008 here in Philippines. When I’m in Zaandam, Amsterdam, I do take care of two lovely boys Nathan ages 2 a sweet boy, love to dance and I love Nathan so much. Ryan 4 years old, very socially and like to play with everyone. He likes to play on the computer, he was so smart. Together they can play but also fight, but I think that is normal because they are brothers. They can both speaks some English and Nathan also can speak some of my own language (tagalog). Furthermore I need also to speak their language so it easy to be with them. I’m doing light household chores, picking and bringing the kids to school, sometimes cooking and sometimes babysitting. I prepare their food, dress them, put them to bed, play with them, and go with them to the park to play with other children. This is for now.
