Dear family!
My name is Olya, I’m from Ukraine. I was born in a beautiful small town in Transcarpatian region.
Last year I graduated National University, Mathematical faculty. As mathematician I like logical tasks, to operate with digits and everything that doesn’t let my mind to be bored. At the same time I’m very sociable person, it’s not enough for me to “communicate” only with computer and numbers J I have a lot of friends and they can always rely upon me. I like to communicate with people, it bring me pleasure and inspiration.
This year I graduated Theological-Pedagogical Academy. This education gave me an opportunity to teach childs a religion in summer camps. I was one of the leaders in camps for kids. Actually, we organize different activities for children and youth during all year: songs festivals, sport competitions (volleyball, football), competitions of actors’ skills and knowing of Bible etc.
Regarding my experience in childcare I do this with a full responsibility. I’m trying to go down on kid’s level to have a possibility to talk and play with them in their games – in such way we became a friend. It’s really important point – to be sincere with kids and to get their trust. Childs feels when they are loved and always are ready to feedback. But when it’s necessary I rise up on parent’s level and became a serious to be able raise them in right way. And you know, I always used to apply this method and it always dives a good result.
I was a babysitter in my nephew for a few weeks for all day. Roma was 1 year at that time, but we found a common language from the first day and I never had problems with him.
Also last year I lived some time at my friends, they have three kids. And of course I helped them: I spent all free time with kids, helped their mum to feed, bathe and put them to bad.
I’ve chosen an Au-Pair program because of many reasons: I want to improve my English internally in US, want to see your way of life and culture, and it’s a chance to travel, what I like most of all.
And I want to say a few words about my family. Except me my parents have a sun, my elder brother, he’s married already. I appreciate them and grateful to God for my relatives, because of them I realize how it’s important to have somebody to rely upon he every time, and how it’s hard to be lonely.
That’s why I hope to be a good friend and helper to your family, a sister and a mentor to your children.
