Au Pair job description

We both are doctors and have a daughter and son aged 15yrs (karthika) and 6yrs (akaash). Karthika attends full time school. . Akaash goes to the school 5days a week and you are expected to look after him when he is at home. We would also like you to do some light housework, a little cooking for akaash and some laundry . We usually return from work at around 5-6 pm in the evening. We have a washing machine and a dishwasher. You will be working up to 7 hours a day Monday to Friday maximum of 35 hours a week which may sometime include babysitting and in return you will get £70 pocket money which will be paid to you every week. Weekends will not be working days for you.

Family's Message to Au Pairs

We are an Indian family and we mainly speak English at home. We live in a four bedroom house in a nice part of Kettering. We have no pets at home. House is walkable distance from town centre, English college and railway station.. Kettering is a small town north of London by 50 minutes travel by train We will all be glad to help you with your English. There is a course available at the local college which is walkable distance from our home. Lot’s of other Au Pairs attend this college and there are also other Au Pairs in our town. You will have your own bedroom with a TV and hope you will live as part of our family. It will be nice for you and for karthika to meet someone from another culture with a different language. You will be very welcome to our home and we hope we will all enjoy our time together as a family
