Au Pair/Nanny job description

ARE YOU CALM, PATIENT, AND LOVING? Our lovely Kiwi nanny is sadly leaving due to family illness. She highly recommends us. £225/week, 4 weeks paid holiday Own room/bathroom, Sky TV, broadband. 2 boys, age 3 and 6 (both at school) and a puppy. The oldest boy is lovely but can get very frustrated and angry. He has learning difficulties (dyslexia). So he needs someone very special, preferably someone with special needs experience. Duties: school run, playdates, outings, supermarket shopping Light housework, laundry, ironing (5 hours max/week), cooking. WE HAVE A CLEANER. Location: North London - Hampstead Garden Suburb (a beautiful, safe area). Closest tube is Golders Green. Lots of language schools near-by, coffee shops, internet cafes etc. Lots of au pairs/nannies in the area.

Family's Message to Au Pairs and Nannies

We’re a lovely, easy-going family. (Our current nanny would like to come back to us one day.) This is a great job for someone who is very calm, really loves kids and doesn't mind early starts (7am). Basic housework required (washing/ironing/emptying the dishwasher/wiping over the kitchen surfaces/making the beds/tidying up). This is not a cleaning job. We have an excellent cleaner. Ideal person: female, 23years+, very kind, warm, fun, lots of patience, genuinely loves young children (and has experience with them),responsible, happy. Preferably someone with special needs experience since our oldest is dyslexic. UK references required. Must be able to drive and stay a minimum of 6 months. Please email photo/references/CV ASAP.
