Nanny's Message to Families

Dear family. My name is Sara im 27 years old, im from Reykjavik Iceland. im currently working as a insurance advisor.. Im married.. We have no kids. We are planning to move to canada before summer 2009. We have always been really exited about Canada.. so we are gonna make our dream come true and move to canada. :) My mother is a make up artist and my father is a mason (bricklayer). I have 3 siblings my sister is 23 years old and my 2 brothers are 20 and 7 years old .. We are all very close. :) I have a very good experience with children. I have been taking care of children since i was 10 years old. i have been working in a kindergarden and a day care center. When I was 15 I was in California for the summer as a nanny, took care of 1 boy, 7 months old. And in 1997 I was an au pair in Bremen (GERMANY) for 4 months, took care of 7 ½ years old boy and 3 years old twin boys, I was supposed to be with the family for 1 year but it was very difficult for me to stay with them because I couldn’t speak deautch., so I couldn’t communicate with the kids.3 months after I came home from Germany I went to Finland as a nanny took care of 7 months old boy and a 6 years old girl, I was there for 4 ½ months those people were Icelandic, so they moved back to Iceland and in Iceland I was still working for them as a nanny. In the year of 2001 I went to school in Spain (Barcelona)to study Spanish but that was only for the half of the summer and after the school I started to work in a small island in Spain called Menorca I worked there as a bartender and a waitress. Then in the end of 2003 I was an au pair in Fairfield Connecticut (USA) I took care of 3 boys ages 8, 4 and 2. At that time I came there with the agency AU PAIR IN AMERICA, so for the 1st 4 days (before I met the family ) I had a orientation, we learned everything about childcare and we took a class from AMERICAN RED CROSS, for those 4 days we had to wake up at 6:15 am and we didn’t finish class until 8:45pm. So I learned a lot over there. My year in CT was the best year that I have ever experienced and i have alot of good memories from there. My hobbies are travel, languages, movies, ice-skating, calligraphy, family , friends and children. Im very honest, patient, flexible and easy going person. I hope to hear from u soon Respectfully
