Au Pair's Message to Families

I'm an aupair from Brazil, nowadays I'm working for Au Pair in America. I have been in US for 1 and 1/2 year. My first year I spent with a wonderful family in Texas looking after 4 active boys, ages between 9 and 3(twins). Hands full!!!! Now I'm in Maryland with another awesome family, where I take care 3 kids, 2 girls (7 and 3 years old) and a boy (6 years old). They are wonderful kids! I fell so luck I found truly friends to work with! My program ends in April 2009 and I’m planning to go back to Brazil to get my student visa and came back to Us in August 2009. I have done many things in my life, I worked in a hotel, as I have a degree in Hotel Management, I ran my own business and I was a professional mountain biker athlete. I’m 28 years old but I believe it is never too late to chase your dreams, and I'll start to study to become a Nurse! I have now a lot of experience with kids, and I want them to have fun, I love play outside, playgrounds, swimming pool, ride bikes. I like active kids! But I do think that as an aupair I have to help the parents to educate the kids. I believe kids needs discipline and it is very hard for the parents to do it by themselves when they spend most time of the day away from the kids. But as much as they need discipline they need love and respect! I’m looking for a family nearby Arnold, Maryland, where I'll get into college, AACC. I can either take my classes at night after 7pm and one class on saturday afternoon and I also have a option to take the class during the day from 10am to 2pm (about) monday through friday, and a laboratory class that I can take either on saturday afternoon or on a thursday night, depending on the family schedulle!
