Nanny job description

The job includes childcare, housekeeping, cooking, laundry, and outings such as taking kids to skating or the library. The girls are in Grades 2 and 4. It is a live-in position because I (Dad) often leave early and get home late from the ranch and since mom is a doctor she is on call a lot for medical emergencies in our small town. Babysitters are hired as necessary to provide time off for the nanny. Our nanny will be welcomed as a member of the family and may take part in family (and extended family) functions such as Thanksgiving, parties, kids hockey tournaments, visiting etc. Hours are flexible and overtime is compensated by time off. Some time will be spent with the children at the ranch - hills, horses, creek, garden, barn with a hay loft, cats and kittens, new calves in the Spring, skating and tobogganing, etc. The nanny has a private suite in the basement without cooking facilities. Family's Message to Nannies

Hi from Saskatchewan! We are a busy family in a small town, with a strong connection to the family cattle ranch. Mom is a Doctor, Dad is a rancher. We have 2 girls and 1 boy; all bright, active, and cheerful. Gina is 8, and in grade 4; Leah is 7 and in grade 2; Alex is 4 and very sociable and fun, going to pre-school two afternoons a week. We have a comfortable house in a close community with a theatre, pool, plenty of sports and other after hours pursuits. Life in Gull Lake is safe and friendly, with quite moderate winter weather. We value healthy lifestyles, excellent communication skills, cultural diversity, respect for others and for our environment. We all love to read and to travel. We have a great time!
