We are looking for someone to help care for two wonderful boys, ages 5 and 2, and a baby girl born in July.

Family's Message to Au Pairs and Nannies

We are a warm, fun and loving family seeking an energetic, gentle, responsible and intelligent au pair to help out a stay at home mom. The mother was working as an environmental lawyer, and is now at home with the children. The father is a corporate lawyer who works in New York City. The two boys, ages 5 and 3, are sweet, smart and fun to be around. Our third child, a baby girl, was born in July. We also have 2 cats. We are looking for somebody who sincerely loves children, and who can easily integrate into our family. Flexibility and curiosity are important qualities as well. The older boy (age 5), goes to school 5 days a week (8 AM - 3 PM). He loves to play games and learn about new things. The younger boy (age 3) is really sweet, talkative, and affectionate. He is currently enrolled in preschool 5 mornings a week. They both love to play outdoors, read books, and play with other children. We hosted an au pair through Au Pair in America this past year. Having had such a great experience with a young, smart, energetic and intelligent woman, we would now like to host another au pair, because our au pair returned to the Ukraine at the end of her year. We live in N.J, quite close to New York City, and close to beautiful beaches in New Jersey as well. We frequently go to spend weekends at the beach in the summer, because the children’s grandparents have a house there. The au pair should be comfortable swimming, as we do spend a fair amount of time at the beach, sailing, etc. In NJ, we are walking distance to the train to New York City, and to downtown shopping, parks and playgrounds as well. The au pair would also have use of a car. Our au pair and past babysitter both took English and business classes at a local university, which has a great program for young international students. There are many young au pairs in our neighborhood, from all over the world. There would be light housekeeping and laundry, but not heavy cleaning. We love to cook, and our house is vegetarian. We would love to include the au pair in our family activities and travels, and to have somebody who the children will really connect with. Thank you!!
