Au Pair's Message to Families

My name is Kristina and I am 24 years old. I was born in Estonia,in a small provincial town called Valga .I grew up and went to school there.I am the only child in my family and probably because of that I have always enjoyed being around other children when I was still a child myself. Among my friends there were many kids who were younger than me and I really liked to take care of them. Also I have been babysitting a lot for my little cousin sister. In fact, I liked it so much that after I finished school, I decided to go abroad and work as a nanny in a foreign family. I thought that would be a great opportunity to spend more time with kids, learn other languages and to see different cultures.I went to Finland first,worked there for 1 year,cared for 3 kids. That 1 years experience was truly amazing for me. I learnt a lot about myself and became to understand children much more better. I am positive, caring, enthusiastic, easy going, mature and hard-working person. I am very kind and always treat children with respect. When it comes to taking care of them-I am very responsible and friendly. I will always do my best if children need my help. I love to be very active and do any fun stuff with children,like playing, reading, singing, drawing as well as spending time outdoors. I know how to deal with childre in difficult situations and can be very patient and flexible, but will do what is best for kids. Also I have no problem if u need my help in the house. I am very well-organized person myself and I like to keep things around clean. Tidying up, ironing, taking the dust or do some laundry-is totally normal for me. And if it comes to cooking-I enjoy doing that as well, but if there is something special-I am a quick learner. In my spare time I love to read, do some sports or learn languages. I understand how important children are for their parents and I will be glad to help them to take care of their kids. I get happy if I can be helpful and useful for the people and also when I know that children love spending time with me. It is very interesting for me to see them grow and develop. Knowing that I can teach them good and nice things-that fills me up with joy. I am the person whom you can trust. I work as a nanny in Ireland at the moment.I care for 3 kids,aged 7,5 and 2.
