Au Pair/Nanny job description

We are in need of someone to care for our newborn who will be at least 6 weeks old when you start. He will need basic care like feedings, changings, play time, and of course he'll need naps as well. I don't require any housework like some parents do. I do expect for you to keep our home nice like you found it, so that means just cleaning up after yourself. I was a nanny myself once, so I understand a lot of your duties, and concerns. As for the hours, if you would work part time it would be Monday through Friday. But estimated 20 hours a week. Although it could be full-time if I deciede to stay at work FT. The hours then would be 9am-6:00pm Monday through Thursday. and then Friday would be a half day like 9-12:00? All the details can be figured out for the right person.

Family's Message to Au Pairs and Nannies

We'd also like some nights to go out during the month as a couple, so if you'd like to babysit extra nights that would be available to you if you'd want to based on your schedule. We live Downtown so if you could take the light rail and free mall ride to our home, or the bus to DTD if you lived far enough away, so no need to have a car. But you could also drive your own car to work if you prefer. We hope you are willing to take the time to care for our precious joy of life. We want you to care for him like we do, which means always being protective of him and his needs. We don't expect you to clean, we expect you to care of him. Cause if you're cleaning then who's watching him? We do expect you to be respectful of our home and privacy, as well as our wishes. If we ask for you do something specifically we expect that you follow through on our wishes. We are open to your thoughts and suggestions so feel free to come to us with any questions or concerns you may have. We want you to be happy working for us, cause if you're not happy then neither are we. We hope you are the one to help our new family off to hte right start.
