Au Pair's Message to Families

Hi! My name is Jessica- Jess, Jessa, and Jessye work just fine, too. I'm 21 and currently live in El Paso, TX, with my husband. We are looking to move to Phenix City, AL, in tne next few weeks- we'll get there just in time for Thanksgiving- because he is leaving the Army. At the moment, I am a live-out nanny for a four-month-old baby boy. I have held this position since August and will hold it until I leave. Prior to that, I worked at a child development center on Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque, NM, for about a year in all of the rooms- ages eight weeks to five years. I've been baby-sitting since I was nine, have worked with multiples and children with special needs, am CPR and First Aid Certified (though it is coming up on time to renew both of those), took early childcare courses in high school (two of which required me to volunteer at the daycare center there at the campus), and was a live-in nanny for a three-year-old and his twin fifteen-month-old brothers. I am easy-going, caring, and very patient. I love working with children and hope to find a kind, caring family to work for.
