| Our family lives in a suburb of Dallas/Forth Worth.
Our oldest daughter is 8 ½ years old. She is in 3rd grade. She is a very smart girl and has many activities she is involved in, including a competitive swim team, tennis, horseback riding and piano. She also loves riding her bike, playing with her friends, and animals of every kind – especially horses, lizards and dogs. She wants to be a scientist and a conservationist when she grows up.
Our younger daughter is 2 ½ years old. She is a very busy, typical 2 year old. She loves her family, her dog and playing with her baby dolls, purses and being outside. She is at a very important point where she is trying to learn how to interact with everyone and everything, as well as learn her alphabet, numbers, colors and shapes. She goes to preschool part time, and will be home with our au pair and need to have guidance and care the rest of the time. She loves to color and music, so the best way to help her learn is to plan creative activities that make her learn without serious lessons, such as with songs or “color” of the day activities.
We are also excited for the newest member of our family to be born in the end of January. Once the baby comes, I will need our au pair to watch the baby after I start working again – about six weeks after the baby is born. I will be in the house, but will need help to watch the baby while I work at the house.
I hope our family sounds interesting and fun to you. Please feel free to write back with more information about yourself. |
