My name is Alia and I’m looking for the EVENING (from 7pm - up to 6am) OR WEEKEND JOB as a nanny in a family starting in October or November, 2008. Also sometimes can be available in the morning. About me: I’m friendly, kind, open-hearted, outgoing, independent, honest, responsible person who do like to work and have a big experience of working with children of different ages. I like to read books for kids, do some amazing arts and crafts projects, help with homework, play in the park and on the plyground, go to museums and bake holiday cookies together with kids. Also I know many interesting games and songs which mean that your children will never be bored and enjoy spending time with me. Beside, if you want your future nanny to cook for you children, I cook healthy food that your kids will love to eat. My English level is good and I will not have any problems with communication with your children. Of course, one of the most important things in bringing up children is the discipline which I can ensure for your kids. Also I know how to give first aid in case of some accident. Education: January 2008 – May 2008 – TOEFL Preparation class in University of Connecticut, Stamford, CT.
2003 – 2007 - B.A. in Linguistics (English, German) at Khmelnytsky National University, Ukraine.
1992 – 2003 – Khmelnytsky collegium.
Work experience: October 8, 2007 – October 1, 2008 – working as the Au Pair in Greenwich, Connecticut through the Cultural Care Au Pair Company and taking care of 3 kids of age 2, 3,5 and 5. My duties included: entertaining kids, driving them to different classes, cooking lunch and dinner, bathing, laundering, cleaning up their bedrooms and the playroom, helping to do the homework etc.
December 2005 – May 2007 – babysitting for the friends’ child from age of 13 months to 2,5 years. My responsibilities were to play with the baby, go for a walk, feed and bath him.
September 2004 – May 2007 – Tutoring for children of age 12-16. Teaching English reading and grammar, improving English speaking skills, doing homework.
May 16, 2006 – October 12, 2006 – Credit Card Promotion for JP Morgan Chase Group. Working in IVP Promotion Inc.
2003 – 2005 – Voluntary work in student organizing committee at Khmelnytsky National University, Ukraine. Arranging celebration of different holidays, designing wall newspapers, reading lections in Junior School.
2001 – 2002 – summer work as the salesperson on the open-air market.
