Au Pair/Nanny job description

We are a loving country living family who enjoys the outdoors. As we are self-employed, we require an au pair that will ensure the children are met off the bus and have a snack prepared and help with their homework. A live in is required due to very occasional overnight trips for conferences etc. We also do have 2-3 evenings out a month. Light housekeeping is required but I prepare all suppers. Our 10 yr old has Down Syndrome and limited speech but she is very communicative. She is a very capable young lady and we really do not consider her to be "Special Needs". Must be willing to travel to our other home in Canada. We have had a nanny previously but she did not want to live in the US and only wanted to stay in our Canadian home. Would prefer someone willing to be with us longterm.

As we live in the country - it is important that we find someone who loves their own company as much as the children, but we always ensure that you have time of your own and will provide a vehicle if you have a drivers license.
