Au Pair/Nanny job description

We are looking for a honest and trustful aupair to live with us, to be part of our family and to share our everyday life. You should be active, enthusiastic and show initiative. You will be responsible for four children. You will have to take care of them, while I`m working (part time) Usually they will be in school or in Kindergarden, but at noon, when they come back home, I might not be back yet. You should be able to cook simple meals and help me with the daily housework, like cleaning, tidying up, ironing and so on. You should have fun playing with children, tell them stories and so on.

Family's Message to Au Pairs and Nannies

Dear Au Pair, We are a nice family with four children. Lucie is 8, Felix is 7, Alicia is 5 and our little Martin will turn three years in July. They go to school and Martin goes to kindergarden. After a break of three years I will go back to work in summer as a school teacher. Therefore I need your help with the family and the daily work in the house. Lucie, Felix and Alicia already learn English and enjoy it a lot. Even Martin can speak a little bit. I think it would be nice, to give them the chance to learn a bit British culture and language. That`s why we prefer an English young woman to live with us. Ýou will also have the opportunity to learn and to improve your German, because we are all willing to help you. We are looking forward to having an Au Pair and the kids are also very excited about it. The children have many hobbies and after school activities like doing sports, learning to play a musical instrument and learning English. But they also love playing outside in our big garden or meet friends. They are very curious and kind. If you are a friendly and happy person, who likes children, you will feel at home very easily. A couple of years ago, we already had an Au Pair. That was a very exciting experience. We take it as a gift getting to know a foreign young woman so close and to let her be part of our family. We have a nice house and you will have a big light room in it. We also have two horses and six ginea pigs. If you are a honest, responsible, open-minded and friendly person, you will enjoy your stay with us a lot.
