Au Pair's Message to Families

Hello. I’m Mariko, from Japan and am curious of new culture, people, different custom and religion. I am kind, sweet, creative, neat and easy-going person. I have strong responsibility. Basically I hate to become loser, so I don’t want to give up whatever. I enjoy playing tennis, basketball, badminton, and tabletennis, go for walk with my dog, hiking, camping and biking. I love to cook Japanese food, pasta and sweets. I like drawing, making crafts and flower arrangement. I want to challenge many things in United States. I want to make friends, volunteer, join local events, travel, exchange culture and language. The reason why I want to be an Aupair is very simple. Because I love children. I think children are great. They have strong energy and amazing imagination. I enjoy playing with children. I like to find and imagine something for kids to enjoy. I have taken care of children at daycare in other country as a volunteer. Only for 3 weeks, but that was very fun. I had a great time. I hope I want to stay with children longer. It will be more fun. In Japan I tried volunteering at daycare and local club for kids. I was very happy. Their smile made me happy and relax. So I want to do something for children. I want to help them. Feeding, changing diaper, watching, laying bed, changing cloths, taking a bath, whenever I have to do with children, I think its time would be good . As an Aupair , I want to do my best for children for a host family. I look forward to becoming your Aupair.
