Au Pair/Nanny job description

HOUSEKEEPER NEEDED I had been a single parent for a number of years, nurturing my children with proper values. A few of years ago, I re-married. Our present housekeeper of 3+ years will be returning to her home country. We love her dearly and will remain in close contact. I am therefore seeking a Housekeeper and confidant that can take care of my home. Our house is large and in an affluent area of Long Island, New York, with many ammenities. In seeking an aupair or housekeeper to "live-in", you will have no responsibility for child care, since our children are young adults, living away and/or attending universities. Your main responsibilities would be to take care of the household: cleaning and laundry, periodically cook breakfast, and assist in preparing dinner 1 or 2 times per week. We keep a Kosher kitchen, so if you have this experience, this is a huge plus. You will have your own private bedroom and private bathroom in a separate wing of the house.

We are very respectful people who posses strong values of character. The right individual can truly have a very rewarding relationship, a pleasant and peaceful living environment, for a minimum of one year, and longer if things work out. Hygiene Cleanliness and Non Smoker is a requirement. Additional traits which would be helpful but not necessary is 1(experience in providing or a willingness to learn physical/massage therapy, and, 2) a drivers license with a clean driving record. Because of our need to immediately fill the position, we seek someone who already is here in the United States or possesses a Visa to enter the US.
