Au Pair's Message to Families

Hello from Thailand!!! I would like to introduce myself. My name is Sunpilas , but you can call me “Pooky” as my nickname.. I am 27 years old friends always ask why I would like to BE AN AUPAIR actually, I like English language but I always too shy to talk. I have studied English for more than 10 years but I don’t have the chance to practice it. First of all, I think to join this program I would have the chance to talk to the foreigners and practice my language ability. Secondly, I can learn how to live with other people with different culture and exchange Thai culture. More over, this opportunity with teach me to have a new experience in my life with I can adapt to my life in the future. Finally, I think this program is a good challenge for us to learn life especially with the family and children. Personally, I like children and I think they are cute and sincere. I used to train as a baby-sister at the nursery of Kluay Nam Thai Hospital in Bangkok. The children that I took care of are around 6 month – 7 years. My responsibilities were, for example, prepared milk, changed the baby napkins, took a bath and did many kids activities with them. I learned a lot from this experience. I know how to take care of the kids and know more about there mind and thought so that I could understand them and deal with them easily. The activity that I like most is to learn how to make food for them. Now I living in Baltimore Maryland with the host family.I take care the baby 6months. She just turn 1 year old.if you interesting me contract me..I need a part-time job.. I will move to Guaithersburg Md on March,2009
