Au Pair/Nanny job description

Your job would involve taking care of our two young boys from approximately 7:30am to 5pm Monday to Friday. You would mostly be preparing meals for the children, playing games, going for walks, putting down for naps. We have a huge playground in our backyard which is great for our two year old. Light housekeeping would involve tidying up after the children, making their beds, putting away some dishes and possibly folding some laundry. Basically just the general maintenance of the day. The odd time we might ask if you could prepare a dinner for the family but it wouldn't be part of your regular every day duties.

Family's Message to Au Pairs and Nannies

Your job is the best job of all - taking care of our two young boys. Rowen is 28 months and Sawyer is 8 months. Regretfully we both will be working FT and we are looking for someone who is fun, caring, and who has a great sense of humour to take care of our boys. We are a young family and we love spending time with our kids. We are casual and fun and we like to laugh a lot. Rowen still has another year to go before pre-school but he loves reading books, doing puzzles, playing with his trains, and swinging on our swing set. Sawyer is the best baby you'll ever meet... seriously - no joke. He has the happiest personality and has the greatest laugh. Sawyer has Down Syndrome which means he will probably just hit his developmental milestones a bit later than your typical kid. So far he's totally on track and really there is no extra work required. Ash (my husband) is a Millwright and me (Jen) is in Marketing. That's pretty much us in a nutshell.
