Au Pair's Message to Families

Hello! Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me! I was an an aupair for a year for a family from whom I can provide an excellent reference. I took care of 2 lovely children approximately 40 hours per week. I LOVED doing all sorts of activities with them. We often did arts and crafts, played board games, read all the time, visited the library weekly, took long walks and took pics of the interesting things we came across, and grew a vegetable garden. I loved teaching them at every chance! The parents went out of town occasionally, and during this time I was the sole caretaker for the children. That means I am very experienced in packing lunches, making dinner, and keeping up with the busy schedules of 2 children. Additionally, I have been a part-time nanny to several children in my college town for a year now. I am very easy-going, fun-loving and always wear a smile! I am very responsible and mature. I love adventure, learning about other cultures and traveling. In my free time I like to read books about cultures around the world, watch movies, and challenging myself whenever possible. I am also rather artistic. I love photography and arts and crafts! I am currently living in Texas in the US, but am in need of some adventure on my semester off from college, I thought I might mix my love of travel with my passion for caring for children.
