| Dear Potential Au-Pairs:
Are you a match for our family? If so, let's connect!
We are looking for someone who is a NATIVE ENGLISH SPEAKER as we are raising our boys bilingually and want them to hear correct English. We would prefer an American or Canadian accent, but are open to other possibilities. At least basic German is required to qualify for the AuPair program in Germany. Of course we will sponsor further German classes while you are here. The ability to also speak Greek would be a great bonus for us.
About us... the mother is Greek, but raised in the USA and has lived for many years now in Germany. The father is German, but lived also many years in the USA. The kids speak English and German, but prefer German. They are also learning some Greek now.
We are an international family with a lot of influences but also very connected to German life and culture. We hope to find someone that would appreciate all aspects of our background and be eager to experience them all as part of our family.
We live in the city center in Frankfurt. Currently our apartment does not have room for an au pair. We either will look for someone open to a live-out arrangement (and we'd find a studio or a room in a group house with university students) or we will move to a bigger apartment by the time the au pair starts with us.
By the way, we will be in Virginia, USA over the Christmas holidays this year so would potentially be able to meet any interested candidates in the US during that time.
We look forward to hearing from you! |
