Au Pair's Message to Families

Hello family, I want to be somebody's big sister! I am very easy to get along with, and I like playing with children. I'm 18 years old, and I have already had two years of college, and have earned an Associate's Degree. I want to study Mathematics or Computer Science. I hope to attend Hebrew University in Jerusalem next fall (09), but I really need to improve my Hebrew before that would be possible. I would like to stay with a Hebrew speaking family in Israel, but also a family in Israel that doesn't speak Hebrew or a family that speaks Hebrew but lives in another country. I have worked for two months this summer as a nanny for two elementary school children, and I am also volunteering with children at the YMCA. While I was in college I volunteered at a nursery school and as a math tutor at the elementary school. I am certified by the Red Cross in Adult, Child and Infant CPR, and Adult and Pediatric First Aid, and I am a certified SwimAmerica instructor. Hablo un poquito de español, pero no soy fluida.
