| Dear families, I would just like to take a moment to introduce myself. I am Vanessa, I live in Cave Creek, Arizona and I am 18 years old. I am currently a sophmore in college and I love children and all people. I am a very fun, outgoing, loving, genuine and honest person. I myself had a nanny till I was about 5, and I remember how much of an impact she had in my life and how much fun I had with her. I do have a US Passport and would be willing to apply for a working Visa right away. I honestly hadn't thought about moving overseas, but I am starting to grow fond of the idea. I have lived in Central America and have traveled to South America, seeing that my father is from Chile and we have a lot of family there. I have been around children all my life and have been involved in numerous charities and organizations that have given me the opportunity to work hands on with children of all ages. I have been babysitting since I was 9 and have been able to watch many of the children grow up. I have been on family vacations to watch the children and have helped plan birthday parties and fun outings as well as be a part of them. I have been taking care of several children for many years, not as a full time nanny, but have been heavily involved in their lives and I know the parents would be more then happy to give me a recommendation. I do have an Arizona driver's license and enjoy driving and am good with directions and finding my way around. I am fluent in English and speak a little Spanish. I love to cook, bake and decorate (and I am good at it). I do love children and watching them grow and develop their skills, abilities and talents. Their is nothing more fullfiling then having a child view you as positive example and rolemodel.
I enjoy all activities indoors and outdoors and love being adventerous. I love all music and have been trained in ballroom and latin dancing and then also in tap, jazz and ballet when I was younger. I also sing and write music and enjoy all forms of the performing arts. I am told I am very easy to talk to and get along with and I truly love people and being around anyone. I like to stay busy and active and enjoy dabbeling in activities such as tennis, volleyball, raquetball, horseback, ice skating, bike rides, hiking and almost anything really. I believe life is what you make it, and that perspective is everthing! I am only 18 (soon to be 19) but believe and have been told I carry myself with much more maturity and wisdom then someone else my age. I have had the opportunity to travel quite a bit and see parts of the world and get cultured, and would love to share all my knowledge and experience with you and your family! I love dogs and enjoy taking walks and soaking in God's beautiful earth!
I was born in California to my father Joe from Chile and his father from Spain and My mother Oralena who is second generation Italian. (which makes me a chilitaliard) I moved to El Salvador when I was 4 and then to Miami, Florida when I was 5. My final move was to Cave Creek, AZ when I was 10. I have one older brother who is married and has a beautiful little boy and a precious baby girl on the way! My mother was able to be a stay at home mom after I was 5 and she taught me so many valuable things about taking care of a home. I am very oraganized person and like keeping an order and arrangement to things. I do enjoy cooking, baking and even picking up and planning and organizing. I am very domestically capable, willing and able. I believe that family values and relationships are very imporant. I would love to truly get know and care for the family that I may become a part of!
