Au Pair/Nanny job description

We would like our au pair to be a real part of our family. The primary responsibility is driving our children to and from school and activities (eg. after school activities). Most of the day while William and Meaghan are in school will be free but this position will require an au pair who is willing and able to stay some overnight some evenings during the week. Weekend care is not required. Helping us by getting groceries and doing other light errands is something we ask for. Making sure the house is generally in good order is important. General housecleaning is required A car will be provided for taking the children to activities and doing errands.

Family's Message to Au Pairs and Nannies

We are really looking forward to welcoming a new au pair to our family We are an active family that seems to keep busy. We all play some types of sports: skiing, golf, football, baseball, tennis, hiking, etc... Our son, William, is especially active is team sports. Both parents work, but we try our best to make the nights away from home as few as possible. At home, we like to have fun playing board games, computer games, or sports. The children help with some of the daily chores as we try to keep everyone involved in the care of the house. We do not want the children to expect us or the aupair to always pick up after them. We live in a new house in south Boulder that is in walking distance to Pearl Street and the trailheads It is very important to us that our aupair feel very comfortable and willing to talk with us every day about what has happened, the good or bad things.
