Nanny's Message to Families

Dear Family, Hallo! My name is Susan from Manila. I am 28 yrs. old. I work here as a Private tutor and Home-School Teacher to children ages 4 to 13 yrs old. I love this job! I have been doing this for the past 3 years. I am very interested to experience a new culture, & learn about its people and language. I believe that I will be able to acclimatize fairly well as I am enthusiastic, open-minded, and a fast learner. Right now, I am taking German languages here in Manila; however, I’d like to explore more and have that cultural immersion. I hope a kind & caring family in the U.K. or U.S.A. will be interested to have me as part of their household during this cultural experience. It would even be great if aside from being an au pair, the family would allow me to help their kids with school works. I will be available to travel in January 2009, as I would have to finish my language class and teaching responsibilities by the end of 2008. This gives time for the prospective family and me to get to know each other well (through exchanges of information), and for me to organize all the necessary requirements for visa.
