Au Pair's Message to Families

Dear Families, My name is Arielle , I am 18-years-old and just graduated from High School while attending a community college as well. I got accepted into the University of Massachusetts Amherst to pursue a degree in nutrition and study languages such as French and German. However, I am taking a year off to mature and save money for school. I have had many experiences with kids from babysitting jobs since I was twelve. I am currently working as a part-time nanny for a family in Charlotte and this past year I worked for a private Catholic after school program. I am very determined and have exceptional grades in school, being on the president's list at the community college for achieving a 4.0. In addition, I have studied Latin for nine years and am willing to teach your children what I know as well as elementary French. I have always had an ardent admiration with the Francospeaking world. I love working with all types of children and I am very patient with them. Since I am still young, I feel that I can relate to children very well. In the summer of 2007 I completed a counselor in training program and was a junior counselor at Camp Occoneechee which is a girl scout camp. I absolutely love the outdoors and activities such as swimming, horseback riding, hiking, water skiing, snow skiing, soccer, tennis, and much more (I'm up for anything really) .
