Au Pair's Message to Families

Dear Family, My name is Lucy. I'm 25 years old & looking to be an au pair. I'm from Czech Republic, Middle Europe but currently staying in NEW YORK looking after 10 months old babygirl.. I'm easygoing, caring person, nonsmoker. I love traveling & different countries and cultures. I want to see and get to know the U.S. once I am here :) I am available from January or later of the year 2009 to begin. I stayed in England for 2 years. I really enjoyed the stay. I worked in a local hospital as a housekeeper. My duties were a bit of cleaning, helping the patients, serving food. There were disabled or mentally affected people. And i enjoyed helping them! It gave me so much energy and satifaction.. At some weekends i helped in a local childcenter to look after children with special needs to let their parents to have a rest:-) Then i came back home and sometimes I looked after a 3 years princess, when her mum was at work. Also I was in Paris, France as an au-pair for 6months. I stayed with a family with two girls. Helped with a house cleaning, tidying up and cooking as well. Now i am babysitting in NYil October. I have traveled so many countries, and i enjoy getting to know the differences, languages and cultures. For example I would like to learn chinesse but I am not sure if its possible :-) My hobbies: I love to travel, read books, sport (swimming, volleyball, jogging) In my spare time, I love going out with my friends. I love dogs, so if you have any pets, I would not mind them:-) I love people, like to care and help! I would like to improve my english as well, or learn any other language.
