Family's Message to Au Pairs and Nannies

We require a part time live out nanny for our 4 and 2 year old daughters. We live one block from U of C. The girls love to get out of the house every morning (the Zoo, the Science Centre, etc). Days of week and hours are negotiable but will be fixed once agreed upon. Light housekeeping required (dishes, sweep floors, clean counters, change bed linens, etc). We do not require you to drive the children; you will transport them by bus or walking (come September, you will take the children to preschool and the eldest child to kindergarten). You need not have child care experience, but you must have recent police and child welfare security clearances, current pediatric first aid certificate and references. You must be educated and well spoken, prompt, a non smoker, and not reside with any pets (at least, not any that shed). We offer a good salary commensurate with your qualifications and the amount of work agreed upon.
