Au Pair job description

Hi We are a friendly family who live in Espom about 20 minutes by train from London. We have 2 children a boy and a girl aged 11 and 9. We have had au-pairs for the last 5 years, all of which, have enjoyed their stay with us and we still keep in touch with them by e-mail. I am a police usband is a teacher. We are looking for someone who can drive as you will need to drive the children to and from school sometimes. We are also looking for someone who will play games with the children and prepare some basic food. You would need to work 25-30hrs per week. The children are at school all day and this time will be yours except for some light housework and ironing. There is a good language school nearby (you can walk there in about 10 minutes). You will need to work some Saturdays but there will be extra days off in the week and plenty of time off in the school holidays. We would pay you £65 per week.

Family's Message to Au Pairs

We are a busy working family. We have two children a boy aged 11 and a girl aged 9. They are pretty easy going and are used to au-pairs. This will be our sixth year of having an au-pair. All of our previous au-pairs have enjoyed their stay with us and we still keep in touch. We live in Epsom which is a reasonable sized town. It is outside of London but you can easily travel to London by train. This takes about 20-30 minutes. Epsom is a nice town to live in. There are many au-pairs here and there is a good school for English only 10 minutes walk away. Our previous au-pairs have been Czech, Slovak and Hungarian and we can provide e-mail u to contact them to ask how they found their time here. Our children need very little help although they will want to get you involved in their games. They just want someone to play with them sometimes. Our boy likes playstation and card games and our daughter loves to talk about anything. She also loves singing and making up her own tunes.
