Au Pair/Nanny job description

Our ideal AuPair is mature and responsible, yet fun, energetic and enjoys the outdoors in all seasons. The boys love to play outside. We are looking for someone to be a part of our family and encourage you to join us for supper. Bobbi is an excellent cook and you are welcome to cook as well if you like to. Job responsibilities: We are looking for a teammate with experience with toddler/pre-schoolers. Duties include the kids' meals, kids' laundry and very light housekeeping. We're looking for a non-smoking, live-in nanny for a flexible 45 hours/week.

Family's Message to Au Pairs and Nannies

We are a warm, friendly family with two great little boys in Northeastern PA. Ryan is an advanced, energetic 3.5 year old who loves playing outside, reading books and anything with wheels. Tyler is a charming, easy-going 2 year old who always has a smile for you. The boys enjoy being and playing together. Scot and I (Bobbi) are a professional, down to earth couple. Our home environment is non-smoking, loving and stable, yet casual and fun. Our home is quite unique and wonderful - located in a wooded, rural community of about 40 older homes built in late 1800's, yet we are only 15-20 minutes away from the city of Wilkes-Barre with its movie theaters, shopping mall, colleges etc. We're also only 2 hours to NYC and Philadelphia. Our community is a haven for outdoor lovers: tennis courts, a private lake and hiking/xcountry skiing. Our current AuPair (Cultural Care), Trustee, will be returning to Thailand this fall after 1.5 years with us. She is really a part of our family and is available to answer any questions you have as well.
