Nanny's Message to Families

Dear family, my name is Natacha and i'm 19 years old. I live in a nice town in the suburbs of Paris (Marne la vallée-Chessy Disneyland), in France with my parents, my brother and my lil sister who's 2 years younger than me. Now why do i want to become an au pair? First because i love children, to be with them, to play with them, to take care of them . After 5 years doing babysitting i have learnt a lot about children : it's all about patience, rigour and imagination! I used to play with them, to get them to school, to give them a bath, to feed them, to read them a story... and also to help them doing their homework. I also used to clean their room or just to clean their house to help their mother. They are very important for me, full of energy, of curiosity and imagination i cannot imagine a life without them! I think they are like the sun : they fill me with happiness, they make me smile even if the rest is bad. Yes i really think that children are the true sun of life : without them life is tasteless. Like Ray Charles said : You are my sunshine... Then i would like to discover the US culture as a member of an US family : in fact i've ever been to the USA, to NYC but i've never been an au pair there. Finally i would like to improve my english, it will be a real pleasure to share my French culture with you and your family! J'adorais parler francais à vos enfants, partager ma culture avec eux, leur ouvrir les yeux sur mon monde de l'autre coté de l'atlantique. I'm a dynamic, responsible, sociable, independant, open-minded, creative, great hearted and very cheerful person. I like discovering new cultures, travelling all around the world, learning new languages (i speak spanish, english and french fluently and i'm learning portuguese and italian) My dad is italian and my mother is spanish so i grew up in a multicultural family which is a very good thing that made me more open minded, open to the others culture, music, art... I have already been an aupair in London taking care of 2 little girls 3 and 7 years old, it was a really great experience, this family has become my second family there, i have been totally integrated and i have made so much progress in english and also spanish coz i had numerous latino friends. I love sport in general, running, horse ridding, singing, reading, dancing, making new friends and most of all playing the piano, i play the piano for 12 years and music is a huge part of my life. After my degree ( i've got my scientific "baccalaureat" A level ) i went to university to study political sciences. I love photography, music, latina music, soul music, jazz... reading books, going to the cinema, travelling, horse riding, playing the piano, meeting new people and enjoying life. I also work at Disneyland Resord Paris and i love it : i can meet a lot of english, irish or american people who come here with their children. I try to teach them some words in french and we talk about our different life. I love listening to them and imagining how could be their life. It would be a real pleasure for me to share time with you and to become a new member of your family. Like Martin Luther King said : I Have a Dream.. to become an au pair is a real dream for me so please make this one come true.
