Au Pair's Message to Families

Dear family, my name is Natacha and i'm 20 years old. I'm originaly from a nice town in the suburbs of Paris (Marne la vallée-Chessy Disneyland), in France. Why would i like to be a nanny? First because i love children, to be with them, to play with them, to take care of them . After 5 years doing babysitting i have learnt a lot about children : it's all about patience, rigour and imagination! I'm used to play with them, to get them to school, to give them a bath, to feed them, to read them a story... and also to help them doing their homework and teaching them French. They are very important for me, full of energy, of curiosity and imagination i cannot imagine a life without them! I think they are like the sun : they fill me with happiness, they make me smile even if the rest is bad. Yes i really think that children are the true sun of our life : without them life is tasteless. Like Ray Charles said : You are my sunshine... It would also be a real pleasure to share my French culture with you and your family! ( J'adorais parler francais à vos enfants, partager ma culture avec eux, leur ouvrir les yeux sur mon monde de l'autre coté de l'atlantique.) I'm a dynamic, responsible, sociable, independant, open-minded, creative, great hearted and very cheerful person. I like discovering new culture, travelling all around the world, learning new languages (i speak Spanish, English and French fluently and i'm learning Portuguese, Japonese and Italian) My dad is Italian and my mother is Spanish so i grew up in a multicultural family which i consider as a very good thing that made me more open minded to the others culture, music, art... I have already been an aupair in London taking care of 2 little girls 3 and 7 years old, it was a really great experience, this family has become my second family there, i have been totally integrated and i have made so much progress in English and also Spanish. I have been a nanny in NYC during 1 year taking care of 2 little boys, and 2 baby girls reference available upon request. I love sport in general, running, horse ridding, singing, reading, dancing, making new friends and most of all playing the piano, i play the piano for 12 years and music is a huge part of my life. After my degree ( i've got my scientific "baccalaureat" A level ) i went to college to study political sciences. I love photography, music, salsa music, soul music, jazz... reading books, going to the theatre, travelling, horse riding, playing the piano, meeting new people and enjoying life. It would be a real pleasure for me to share time with you and to become a new member of your family.
