| Dear aupair,
I am Wendela and my husband is Jan. We live in Zaandam and are only looking for a native English (American, Canadian, Australian etc.) or Dutch speaking aupair for our 9 and 2 year old daughters. We will also require you to do some housework like dusting, vacuuming and laundry. Our previous aupairs taught Anoushka and Leanora English and we would like our future aupair to continue to teach our girls English. To better understand Anoushka, Leanora and our culture we would like you to learn Dutch. We found a great language course which our current aupair thought highly of.
Anoushka is a 9 year old cheerful girl. She is bright, sweet, social, and helpful and like all kids sometimes challenging. We are looking for an aupair who can take her to school, athletics, music lessons and social events when we are at work. You will have a four day working week accept during the month ends when my husband needs to work 5 days instead of the usual 4 days. You would also need to take care of our 2 year old who loves to play outside sliding, swinging and 'biking'. She is in daycare two days a week where she learns how to socialize with other kids her own age.
We live in Zaandam a small town with everything at walking or biking distance and with everything we mean absolutely everything: grocery stores, shops, library, theatre, nature, restaurants, terraces, bars etc. To give you some indication it is a 12 minute train ride from Zaandam to Amsterdam CS (our lively capital). You will have your own room on the top floor of our house. It's brand new because we recently redecorated the room.
