Au Pair's Message to Families

Dear hostfamily, My name is Larissa. I'm a 21 years old Brazilian. I’m a Psychology student. In Brazil I was a volunteer worker at IPREDE in 2003. I also worked at a school in 2005 where I helped the teacher and the kids in class and I used to give them bath, lunch and took care of them at their free time. Last year I worked part time with babies and kids under 5 years old in a Day Care Center. I love what I do and I can't describe how I love them! I've been living in U.S. for 10 months. I lived 5 months in Pennsylvania, working with kids between 2 months and 3 years old and studing at Delaware County Community College. Now I'm in Chicago being an au pair for two school-age girls, they're 8 and 13 years old. I'm really kind with kids. I'm honesty, responsible and very easygoing person. I’d like to live with people that really treat me as a part of the family, and not as just an employee. I loved to be very close of the kids and of their parents. I have a J1 visa, Driver's License, First-Aid Training and I can swim very well. Thank You!
