Nanny's Message to Families

Hello Moms & Dads :) I'm a 21-year-old German nanny and came to California in July 2007. I've been working here for two families and can also have lots of references of families I worked for in Germany. I'm looking for a live in & full or part time position with a great family in summer 2009. I'm legal in America and attend De Anza College in Cupertino. I got CPR first aid, attended an Au Pair/Nanny school in NY for 5 days, have a clean driving record and a CA driver's license of course. I have an insuranced car. From July 2007 to July 2008 I took care of an adorable 2-year-old boy, who was diagnosed with mild CP and got a special psysical therapist. Since July 2008 I look after two twin babies (starting age: 4 months old) and a 4-year-old girl. I enjoy working with children of all different ages, I love to go to the park, being outside, doing handicrafts, cook or bake, organize playdates, museuums, etc. I also have a passion for horses and 15 years of horseback riding experience. I don't know if that's a plus, but I just wanted to mention it since it tells more about myself :) I'm willing to do light housework and of course take care of children's laundry, rooms, meal preparation etc. I'm used to busy schedules and rushing from one appointment to the other one. I'm experienced and used to be fully responsible. I promise to devote my time to keep your children happy, healthy and safe while they’re in my care. I’m a very open-hearted, positive, energetic, reliable, helpful, kind and outgoing person. I usually never have problems to establish a reltionship to children and keep them happy during my working shift ;) I prefer open communication to avoid problems & trouble. I hope the family agrees with that, too. Since my family lives far far away in Germany I'm definitely looking to work with a great family!
