| Dear Family,
I would like to introduce a little bit about myself. I am a 26-year-old female with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration that came to the U.S. about a year ago through an AuPair program. Such experience was of a significant importance to me, as I could learn a lot about a new culture and get more experience by working with children of different ages.
This cultural experience has been of an extreme value to me. If I work for your family, I would have the privilege to not only help you with you child during their growth and development, but it would also be an opportunity to me to improve my English skills.
I simply love working with children! I am a very responsible, trustworthy, and lovable nanny with excellent references available. I am also a Christian and non-smoker, and don’t drink alcohol.
I have more than two years as a nanny in the U.S. plus back home experience. When I was 17-year-old, in my country (Brazil), I used to participate in my church as a volunteer in specific programs related to children, such as camping, and educational activities. Currently, I have been occasionally working for two families. I have experience with children from 16-month-old to 8 –year- old. Having previously been an AuPair, I got to become a CPR/First Aid certified. I was also trained on how interact with children through many fun activities to enhance their social and educational life.
It would be a great privilege to work for your family as long as your family will directly help me to improve my English. Besides being a babysitter, I am also willing to so some household tasks, such as the kids’ laundry, cooking, and cleaning up after them. I am looking to a long-term position – more than a year commitment.
I charge $12-$15/hr but I am willing to negotiate, but would prefer doing it in person.
I would love if you let me know if I am the right candidate for your family.
