Au Pair's Message to Families

Dear Family, I am so excited to meet you! I absolutely adore working with children! With this, I have been working in paid childcare for the past nine years, and I have also been volunteering with jr. high and high schoolers, and also infants/toddlers, at my church now and my previous church for the past 5 years. I am CPR first aid certified for the next 2 years. Working with children is so much fun and can be challenging at times, but I am able to handle it all with a smile on my face. I am a very happy person who loves to laugh and have a good time! I am quite the crafty one and can come up with fun craft activities for the kids to make and do. It is so much fun! I like being outdoors and playing sports (american football and soccer mostly, though I am not really good), and I love to swim! I also love to travel. I studied in Germany for 4 months and took 2 full years of German, and I would love to become fluent. Living in another country is not an issue for me. In fact, I feel more at home living in Europe. I think I would be a qualified and experienced aupair for a family who is looking for someone who is fun, joyous, loving, and nurturing.
