Au Pair's Message to Families

Hi!! My name is Meg and I am a 20 year old college student at Savannah college of art and design in Georgia. I have been babysitting since the age of eleven, and have nannied twice in the past three years. Last summer I worked at a summer camp in the Adirondacks. I cared for five girls around the age of 11. I was also head of the craft department, helping children from the age of 6-16! I have a ton of experience with taking care of kids. I come from a very large family (My father being the eldest of ten!) and have had the chance to babysit many of my cousins, siblings, and even friends. I nannied two children two summers ago, and nannied five the previous! (References available!) Now that you know a little about my experience, I will tell you a bit about myself! I'm heading into my third year of college as a graphic designer. I run cross-country for my athletic team at school. I run every morning about 4-7 miles! I love to create and to have fun. I love the outdoors, physical activity, sports, and crafts! I have an adventurous quality that allows me to get creative with games and arts and crafts! I'm good at keeping kids busy, and having fun, but I also know when it's time to buckle down and get to work. I love teaching kids new things and am willing to share my love of the outdoors and of art!
