Au Pair's Message to Families

Dear host families, My name is Priscila, I'm brazilian and am 28 years old. I was an au pair from Au Pair in America agency and I am living here in the US since August 2005 and now work independently. I'm taking classes at Montgomery College and am looking for a part-time or full-time job nannying with a nice family. My experience here as an au pair has allowed me to take care of children of all ages, from newborn to 15 years old. I previously had great luck here in taking care of a wonderful baby named Julia. I also was an au pair before for eight months in France and I took care of a four year old girl and a new baby boy; these experiences helped me to learn a lot about taking care of children and giving support for their needs. A little bit about me. While I was in Brazil, I studied and received my bachelor's degree in Hospitality (Hotelieur). Language is of the utmost importance to me for my occupation and future endeavors. I found the au pair program and I applied because I love kids and I was excited to have an opportunity to work and learn from them. I am patient and attencious with children and I consider maturity and my responsibilities to my host family to be of utmost importance. I have a valid driver's license and take safe driving very seriously.
