| My name is Emma-Lucille and I'm 18 years old since the July 7th. I live in a little town in the south east of France which called Orange. I just finished high school with my literary diploma in my pocket! I've two dreams in my life: be an air hostess and live in USA. I think that be an au pair can gather together both, beyond the human experience it's a great way to learn English in a dreamy country!
In France, I live with my two parents; my father is retired, my mother is a voluntary, and my sister who's 20 and whose I'm very close. During my free times I like to watch television, surfing on internet, spend time with my friends to do shopping (like a lot of women) or go to cinema. I like cooking, especially cake but I can prepare dinner with a good cooking book! I'm not bother by the housework because I'm tidy and meticulous person. I don't practise any sport because I don't like the competition mentality but I like sometimes ride, it's a sport which one I'm in contact with the nature and I love that. I 'm working in a restaurant as waitress since few years, I harvested the grapes this summer and I did the corn two years ago. But I admit that I 'm not cut out to work in fields!
To the baby sitting, I keep children during the week and others casual way. I'm keeping three kids who are sisters and brothers (Corentin 1, Agathe 4 and Océane 7) during two hours a week since September. I help the older sister to do her homework and I play with the two younger before to cook them a dinner, take their shower and put them to bed. I kept too a little girl who's called Camille (1) during 2 week ends during this summer so I cook her dinner,I take her bath and I put her in bed. I keep too my neighbours kids time to time, Clélia (2) and the little Lillian (2 month) during couple of hours a week, when their parents want to go out or when the mother run errands. To April at October 2006, I keep a little girl who's called Nicole (3) during 3 hours the Monday when her mother worked at the restaurant, and this winter I kept her too with his little brother Gabriel (8 month) during 2 evenings, when their parents go out. Their father is English, so Nicole is a little bilingual so the language's difference doesn't afraid me!
The au pair experience is great because that create a privileged relationship with the kids during a year, to see them grow up, and I think that this adventure can construct very stronger links which can last during more than one year. I think that live in a family, even if it's for one year, in an other country is a good aspect of my future life. In fact, I have to integrate in a family, adapt me in a different culture in a different way of life…all of this can afraid. But I think that it will be a good lesson for me because in my future job, I'll be in contact with different team on each flight. I am in reality quiet because I know that each side want the better atmosphere to the kids. Moreover, I'm really fall in love of United States since I'm a little girl; the American dream, the culture, the history, the greatness which symbolize this country. I'm so impatient to carry out my old dream!
I'm really ready to live this experience, I'm responsible and I'm serious, when I engage in something I like go to the end (plus I' m a little bit perfectionist). So I hope that you can realise my dream.
Actually, I'm living in Austin for the moment and I'm passing my American driver license so we can meet each other directly to talk about all your expectations. I'm actually an Au Pair for a family with twins of 10 months and a little girl of 3 years old. I'm very fine with my job, and not afraid by a lot of work :)
