Au Pair's Message to Families

I am a loving and caring individual who has incredible fun with children. I'm very innovative and responsible and I love to play outdoors. I've lived and played on all the mountains of my hometown valley nearly all my childhood, so I understand and enjoy the fun beneficial opportunities that going outside can bring. I dislike TV, and wouldn't ever sit your children in front of one for more than a couple hours. I can prepare some tasty breakfasts and lunches; the healthier the better. I am artistic and creative, love to sing and want to learn to play the piano and violin. Plus, learning a new language or two is something I hope to accomplish. I enjoy being active with the children, running, skipping, playing tag, bouncing, tumbling, soccer, basketball, baseball and anything that can be turned into a game. Also, am an avid reader, and will thoroughly enjoy reading some good books to the kids. I enjoy helping them with their homework because I get the chance to help mold their future by giving them hints and tips. Watching them discover the answer, is such a satisfying moment, but even better are the moments they figure it out themselves. I would like to have some daily chores around that house to fill up my time while the kids are busy, taking a nap or at school. Although I do drive, I know that most European countries have manual cars. I have had some experience driving them, but since I spend most of my time in an automatic, I would need some teaching were I to drive stick. I am sympathetic and soft, but I still run the show. If something had to get done, it would need to happen before going out to play at the park or riding bikes. Once all the dishes and messes had been picked up and cleaned, we'll race out the door on to the next adventure waiting to find us. I only hope that we'll be close friends and have lots of fun.
