Au Pair's Message to Families

My name is Elena and I am 26 years old. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English. I have worked as a summer counselor with children from ages ranging from 4-10. I have always wanted to learn and to work in a Spanish speaking country to enhance my knowledge in the culture and the language as well. With my experience working with children, it has given me the motivation and to fully concentrate my career goals surrounding myself with children. I've also grown up around children my whole entire life and so I think I have a childlike nature which makes me a very fun-loving and easy going person from what I've been told. I love children and therefore I would love to gain some more experience being around them and interacting with them. I am also a free spirit and I've been to many places but Spain is the country that I would most like to work in. I also think that I have a high level of patience when it comes to children because I've been taken care of many of my younger relatives which I think has given me a better understanding on how to associate with them. Nonetheless, I would really like to work for a family who will be willing to hire me as an au pair and accept me as a part of their family and not just as a 'worker'.
