Au Pair/Nanny job description

We need a responsible, caring person who enjoys spending time with young, happy children to come into our home and be part of our life. Our family of Gary, who works full time, myself who works from home and our children. Cara, 6 years old at school (across the road) and is missing 2 front teeth! Kurt, (4) who loves cars, trucks, diggers and any books about cars, truck, diggers. He attends daycare 2 days p.w. Our little one Mason (2), loves the backgarden, playgroup, a good joke and playing with our pets. Naturally your duties centre around the children and slightly change depending on which day of the week it is. The children go to bed around 7pm so the evenings you have to yourself and of course the week-ends. Two nights babysitting is required one week-day, one week-end. It is important to us we that we find the right person for our family and it is important for you to find the right family so please email us with any questions.

Family's Message to Au Pairs and Nannies

We are seeking a caring, responsible person who naturally enjoys being with children to come and experience life with us in Perth. If you have a love for swimming, being active and outdoors as well as enjoying time relaxing then you are right for us. We practically live in our pool area during summer and often enjoy a BBQ at sunset on the beach. Any swimming qualification is a bonus. Our home is ideally located in the Perth metro area, between the city and the beach. Nearby is a shopping complex with a variety of shops, a few resturant and a pub, we are close to a lake with all sorts of wildlife, public transport, cycle path and playgrounds. Our children enjoy drawing, cutting and sticking and if you enjoy craft you will be rewarded with lots of little creations. We have a great backgarden for doing all sorts of art outside or playing house in the cubby. I value good manners and well behaved children. Our children have a few extra activites Cara is learning the violin and piano and does a mixture of ballet, tap and acrobats on the week-ends, so any music/dance interestes are a benefit. Kurt will be starting piano later this year which will be very sweet. Mason loves a good disco dance! Sports, surfing, cycling, outdoors games, gardening, good food (growing, cooking eating), holidays, from camping to luxury hotels are a few of the things we enjoy as a family and are so readily available in Perth.
