Au Pair's Message to Families

Dear Parent(s), I am the oldest of five children (1 brother & 3 sisters), so I have had a lot of experience babysitting, especially with my sisters. My parents have been married for thirty years, and I am extremely close to all of my family. I am an aspiring writer, and I moved to New York from Charlotte in February of this year. I was living on the Upper East Side of Manhattan in a free room a wonderful family had offered me. Unfortunately, at the beginning of September, the family needed the room for a person they had hired to work for them, and I had to move out. I am now looking to get back to New York as soon as possible and can be back to the city immediately. If you wanted a New York reference, the family I was staying with would be more than glad to recommend me. Although I wasn't employed by the family, I occasionally picked up their boys from school and assisted them with their homework. I have had a lot of experience working with kids, volunteering as an English tutor while I was in high school and leading a basketball camp at my church three summers ago.
