Au Pair's Message to Families

Dear Family, I love life and I love my family with all my heart. I would love to be chosen as your au pair and to become a part of your family as well. I come from a very BIG family and that has taught me many family values. I will always be there for them, listen, laugh, love and protect them. It is these values I will take with me as you welcome me into your home and your hearts. I am very excited to find a Family and I hope you consider me as your next au pair. I want to learn and experience as much as I can. I love being around children. I have been into sports my whole life so I can definitely keep up with them. I played soccer for 14 years. I am very active in dance (ballet, tap, jazz and hiphop) And growing up with 3 big brothers, 1 big sister and many many cousins we definitely had a lot of adventures. I have a lot of childcare experience starting at the age of 12. I took care of my 2 cousins until I was 15. I would watch them after school and on the weekends. When I was 16 I started helping out at a daycare ran by my best friends mother. 2 years ago my God daughter Amaya was born. When Amaya was 8 months old I took care of her on a daily basis while her mother went back to work. I loved watching her grow and helping her to learn. It really is amazing to watch a child grow up right in front of your eyes. I have 4 nieces, Alicia 8, Lissette 7, Angelina 3 and baby Ana 10 months. I also have my 2 nephews, Damien 8 and baby Aidean 7 months. I love being an Aunt. I can be having a bad day and I come home and see my nieces and nephews and they brighten up my day. I have learned the most about taking care of children because of them. I have been holding them in my arms and helping to take care of them since they were born. Like I said I come from a big family. I am the youngest of 5 kids and my family is still growing. And the person who holds us all together is my Mom, I LOVE MY MOM!!! :) Now that you know a little bit about my childcare experience and my family, I will let you know a little bit more about me. Music and singing are my passion. I attend Ohlone College where I am currently studying music. Growing up I have always been in the chior but these days I sing and perform at churches and senior homes and I love it. My other passion is traveling. When I was 20 I moved to Germany with my aunt for 4 months and I loved every minute of it. That experience taught me so much about life and it taught me a lot about myself. When I was 22 I Moved to Florence Italy for 5 months. I got a chance to travel all over Italy and it was a beautiful chapter in my life. I feel so lucky to have had these experiences and words cannot describe the impact it had on me. It also shows you that I can be away from home (California) for a long period of time. I am a very honest, responsible and caring person. I want to help others and live a beautiful life!! I would love to work as an au pair because I love children. It would be a wonderful experience for both me and the family who accepts me into there home. I would love to travel and learn about other cultures and languages, as well as teach your child English!
