Nanny's Message to Families

dear prospective family, i am an experienced nanny who will be looking for a new family to work for come summers end. The family that I have worked for for the past two and a half years will be transitioning their youngest into pre-school at this time. I believe that children excel best in life when raised by loving parents and other safe adults that act as role models during fundamental stages of their development and throughout their childhood. I provide a loving and educational environment for children of all ages and all walks of life. i do not believe in physical punishment and will NOT enforce it. I believe that children should be given fair limits, and should be punished accordingly for exceeding those limits, such as time outs and the removal of privileges when applicable. I often bring along education material suited to the child’s age in order to provide an educational environment. I believe in hands on childcare rather then non stimulating activities.
