Au Pair/Nanny job description

We are looking for a loving, energetic au pair to care for 3 wonderful children. Girl age 7 in 1st grade, boy/girl twins age 3 1/2. Duties include: summer fun - taking kids on outings to the zoo, the park, the museums and the swimming pool. Doing crafts and puzzles, reading books, helping kids plan fun summer activities. Prepare children's meals. Help maintain children's areas neat and clean. Wash and put away kids' laundry. Help teach all children as they learn and grow. Flexible schedule with some weekend and evening hours scheduled. Position is from July 14, 2008 - August 20, 2009. You will have your own bedroom and bathroom in our home and we will provide meals for you. We have had three au pairs and loved each one like a member of our family.

Dear Au Pair, We are pleased that you are considering our family as a possible opportunity. We have had wonderful au pairs experience with 3 different au pairs (one from Colombia, one from Australia, and one from MO). A typical day in our family involves everyone up early. Our au pair prepares breakfast for the children. Phil and Colleen are out the door by 8:00. Our au pair and the children do morning chores. Then the kids and our au pair are off for a fun outing to the zoo, the park, the swimming pool, or something fun at home. Then lunch, afternoon nap/quiet time. The early afternoon usually involves some kind of exercise like bike riding or a walk to the park. Then dinner and family time. We have a big house in Denver, in a neighborhood that has everything in walking distance - coffee shop, book store, restaurants, bank, and a bus stop. We hope you will consider working with our family. This is a perfect year-long job for someone interested in exploring Colorado. Sincerely the family
